| History | Winner of the world’s top honor for disease resistant roses. Flower Carpet® Pink Supreme, along with Amber and Scarlet, belong to a collection of Next Generation Flower Carpet® roses, where refined breeding has produced improved heat & humidity tolerance on top of its existing disease resistance. This collection has superlative disease-resistance to common rose blights such as black spot and mildew – developed over a 25-year period by Noack Rosen, the German rose-breeders known for their early commitment to disease-resistant hybrids. In addition to winning Germany’s coveted All Deutchland Rose designation, Pink Supreme earned high marks in Dallas Arboretum’s 2010 Trial program, internationally known as one of the premier places to test plants for extreme weather conditions, especially high heat and humidity. |
