| History | This selection is one of the first two hydrangea cultivars developed from the U.S. National Arboretum’s shrub breeding program in McMinnville, Tennessee. ‘Munchkin’ (NA 73936; PI 658494) was developed from seedlings obtained from a 1997 open-pollination of oakleaf hydrangea cultivar ‘Sikes Dwarf’. It was released in 2010. |
