Though wholly of garden origin it is strongly aligned with the perennials of the American prairie and belongs in beds and meadows with them. Super with native plants and naturalizes beautifully in wild gardens, even in dry western climates. Highbrow enough to use in estate settings and massed formal beds with a box hedge perimeter. |

| Care Instructions | Thrives in average, well-drained soils; does not tolerate poorly drained, soggy soils. Water deeply, regularly in first growing season to establish root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates mild drought. Remove spent flower stems to encourage rebloom and maintain a tidy appearance. |
| History | An exclusive Monrovia introduction, from award-winning breeder Terra Nova Nurseries of the United States. King’s Crown™ was selected for its stand-out fully double blooms with fantastic yellow coloring. |
