| Description | Fascinating wavy leaves are heavily dotted with chunky chocolate-brown spots. In late spring, the clumping rosettes are topped by 30-inch stalks with curious flowers, the most showy part of which is long burgundy stamens topped with yellow anthers. The low, ground-hugging habit and waterwise nature make it a perfect addition to mixed succulent containers or rock gardens. Evergreen in frost-free climates. |

Apply half-strength fertilizer in summer. If put in a container, provide a pot that is slightly wider than the width of the rosette. To overwinter, bring inside and provide as much light as possible. Evergreen in frost-free climates but will die to the ground if temperatures dip into the teens. |
