| History | Bred by Brian Collingwood of Manchester UK. This early large flowering Clematis was selected from approximately 60 new plants raised from seeds obtained from a population of greenhouse open pollinated Clematis patens, the seed parent of a form not widely know except in the wild in Japan.The pollen parent remains unknown. Introduced in the U.S. by Pride of Place Plants, Inc. U.S. P.P.#24,142 was issued in January, 2014. |
